Every Sunday our family spends the day hanging out and drinking Caesars. Its an odd tradition but we look forward to it every week. Even our kids have their own little Caesar Sunday dance. We are constantly adding in different/new ingredients but we wanted to share with you what our version of a "classic" Caesar looks like. I have also put a picture below.
The Minnings Caesar
Vodka (we usually use smirnoff)
Mott's Clamato Juice
Ice
Tobasco
Worcestershire
Pickle Juice
Horseradish (in the jar or freshly grated)
Lime
Caesar Rimmer (we make our own)
Fresh Dill
Salt & Pepper
Grab a good Caesar glass (we use mason jars). Use a lime wedge to wet the rim of the glass. Rim your glass. Fill glass almost to the top with ice. Add 1.5 oz of your vodka (not in the kids), 1 oz pickle juice, 5 dashes of tobasco (you can leave this out if you don't like spicy, 10 dashes of Worcestershire (we like it dirty), 1/2 tsp of horseradish, dash of salt & pepper. Now fill the remainder of your glass with the Clamato. Give it a good stir and add a lime wedge and fresh dill for a tasty garnish.
Cheers and enjoy!!!
Fun Fact- We love Caesars so much that we created an Instagram page just for them. Show us some love and give us a follow! @coupleofcaesars
